Delivery Information

Our products are delivered direct from our Partner manufacturers Quickslide. These items are delivered nationally with the exception of Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. 

To ensure you get your order promptly and in good condition please read the following information, it might be worth printing it out to help you with your delivery.

Please note that deliveries are to the kerbside only. Please ensure you have the necessary ability and equipment (if required) to move the items into your property. 

Booking the delivery

When your order is placed with our partner manufacturer will send you a ‘week commencing’ delivery date. This is to clarify what week you can expect your delivery to take place. This is not a specific date, just an indication. On receipt of this document you must make us aware of any delivery restrictions to your property that may affect the delivery. This can be things like narrow roads, low bridges, and weight restrictions etc.
They generally use 18.5 tonne rigid box vehicles to deliver the majority of our products. If you feel that there may be an issue with the size of the delivery vehicle then you must inform the manufacturer when you receive this document. If the driver arrives and is unable to deliver to you this will result in re-delivery charge if the products have to be returned to our depot.

Delivery Restrictions

There are certain geographical restrictions to our delivery area. As such, we do not deliver to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, any islands of Scotland and the Scottish Highlands.

In addition to the above there are certain UK mainland postcodes that are also excluded from our delivery area, therefore these will be ‘price on application’ at the point of enquiry:

AB, IV, PH, KA 27-28, PA 28-29

Delivery charge

The majority of our deliveries are free with our over £500 free delivery offer. 

The delivery

Once the driver arrives, he will in most cases be able to offload the goods on his own, however, a helping hand is always welcome. The goods will be deposited on your property – access permitting – but will not be taken into your house as driver is not insured to do so.

Checking the delivery

You will have approximately 15 minutes with the driver to check through the items to make sure there has been no visible transit damage to the items. Although rare, if there has been any damage, then the items must be returned to the manufacturer for rectification. It is much quicker to send the original back with the driver to get the whole replacement process moving as quickly as possible. If you are unsure, please call us during the delivery.

Delivery note

The delivery note must be signed, your name printed and dated as proof that all items have been
delivered in good order.

 What payment methods and are available?

We accept Bank Transfers and all major Debit/Credit Cards (except AMEX).Paypal

What are our payment terms?

All products must be paid for in full before manufacturing starts.

FAQ-General

Can we change the standard sash window specifications?

Yes, you can use the “Special quote request” email form found next to the description of any window.

Guarantees?

All our products come with a 10-year guarantee. You can download the guarantee from Downloads in our Knowledge Base

Have you ever had your windows installed in conservation areas?

Yes. Conservation areas are sometimes a bit of a sticking point, but on the whole, we have had great success. Each area is different and it is your responsibility to check with your planning authority. Our suggestion would be to go with a wood-grain finish rather than the smooth white PVC, but do your research before ordering.

I have purchased and installed them myself but how do I get a FENSA certificate?

Contact your local authority, tell them that you have changed the windows. They will arrange to come out and inspect and charge you a small fee.

Can I have trickle vents and safety restrictors fitted post-manufacture?

Yes, but it will be costly. Both of these items are not designed to be fitted afterward they must be included at the quotation stage. If you want to fit them afterward then it would usually result in a new glazed top sash, so try to get this right to start with.

Keep in mind the PVCu sash frames are all made from the same highly rated Evolve system, fitted with energy saving glass units.

These glass units have achieve an A-Rating from the Energy Saving Trust as standard, however, the Heritage has slight advantage and achieves an A-Plus Rating with the addition of Argon gas.

In essence having 3 different windows makes ordering easy and fast depending on your requirements. With the Build having the least options, the Heritage having all available options and the Trend having a balance between the two.
